Natania will be graduating soon and transitioning out of the team.
1. Natania’s Transition Timeline
•
Natania will remain available until February.
•
After February, she will no longer be helping due to her full time commitments (maybe on Saturdays)
From now until February:
•
She can still support with complex edits when needed.
2. Immediate Filming Needs (Next 3 Months)
•
We do not have heavy filming scheduled during this period.
3. Sooyeon’s Role Moving Forward
You will take on studio-side filming supervision, since you are already responsible for planning and being present during shoots.
Your responsibilities will be:
3.1 Filming Supervision
•
Ensure the shoot runs smoothly
•
Monitor framing, exposure, audio levels, focus
•
Flag any issues during recording
•
Note down timestamps to cut
3.2 Cut-Down & Timestamp Editing
•
Basic trimming can be delegated or handled by me if needed
•
You only need to prepare the rough-cut guidance (timestamps + notes)
We will keep your workload light and structured.
4. Technical Backup — Jeeyoon
If technical issues arise:
•
Studio equipment, setup questions, troubleshooting → Jeeyoon
5. Increasing Quality — One-Off Professional Consultant
To improve production quality, we will hire a professional filmmaker/lighting expert (from Soomgo or similar) for a one-off session to:
•
Re-evaluate our camera settings
•
Re-balance lighting
•
Possibly recommend new equipment
•
Calibrate audio setup
•
Improve our overall workflow
This is not an ongoing role — just a single consultant session to set us up for long-term quality.
We will discuss the job description on Friday as well.
6. Long-Term Plan (After February)
•
We will reassess whether we need:
◦
a part-time editor
◦
a full-time in-house videographer
◦
or continue with our internal team
7. Next Steps
•
Walk through the handover workflow
•
Review filming checklist
•
Confirm responsibilities
•
Set up the consultant request
•
Define expectations until February
